This application helps cross stitchers determine what size fabric they need before starting a project. You enter your stitch count, the fabric thread count, and an optional border. You are then told what size fabric you will need for your project. Optionally, we also calculate the fabric size if you are stitching over two threads.

What is the pattern stitch count?
This is usually found on the back of the pattern or chart
What is the fabric count?
This is how many threads per inch the fabric you plan to stitch on has.
What does stitching over 2 mean?
Turn this on if you plan to have each X you stitch cover two threads instead of one.
Do I need to add a border?
No, just set this value to 0 if you don't want a border
